Da Nang Trip- Little moments, big memories

Image
I've visited Da Nang a few times, I only stay for one or two nights before leaving to visit Hoi An, one of my favorite places. I decided to extend my stay in Da Nang after receiving an invitation from a buddy. Fortunately, I fell in love with Da Nang following my vacation. During my vacation, I had some fascinating experiences that would be remembered as unforgettable memories. Cherry box I just stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and purchased 7 kg of hand luggage. However, I am so concerned about my work that I chose to purchase an additional 2 kg for my laptop. I paid an additional 200k VND for two ways. VietJet is usually not strict about the food you bring because it is a local flight. As a result, I took a cherry box weighting approximately 1 kg to eat, which exceeded my luggage weight limit. There was a fight with the lady on the VietJet because she wanted me to buy another 4kg with 360k VND. It was fortunate after negotiating that I would eat all cherry before boarding without p

UBUD BALI- EAT PRAY and LOVE

Image
I fell in love with Bali a long time ago after female trip filled with fun and happiness. In July 2024, I returned to Bali at the recommendation of a friend and decided to remain just in Ubud. I am familiar with Ubud from the film Eat, Pray and Love which is based on the memoir by author Elizabeth Gilberts. It revolves around a journey of self discovery and life balance. Bali somehow encouraged me in healing myself, looking deeper into my soul, discovering interesting things that I should accomplish and finding a more positive balance between my work and meanings in life. People often think of Bali with the sea, however the island contains mountains and forests as well. Ubud is a town in the center of Bali island, approximately 40 kilometers from Denpasar airport. This time, I flew direct from Ho Chi Minh to Denpasar, and then took a Grab car to Ubud. Ubud is gorgeous because of its natural scenery, which includes rice terraces, deep ravines and ancient temples. It has a reasonably coo

DEAR JENN!

Image
Thank you for always being on my side. I know you've been through the worst time of your life, but I feel you've largely conquered it and learned a lot over the last two years. Some people may not comprehend why you want to change and confront the challenge . They said a lot about your decision and it is a difficult task for a young lady without experience. However, after you've make your decision, you don't care about what others think; instead you focus on your strategy.  I'm also delighted that you've started to care about your health . Health is the most valuable aspect of life. If we have health, we have everything. It allows us to continue studying, working, enjoying the life with laughing, having fun and being happy. Keep going, girl! Please pay attention about the food that you choose and eat. People have said we are what we eat. I know you are a kind and warm girl. You're always concerned about what others think and want to make them happy. Sometime

The days before TET (Lunar New Year)

Image
On 29th of the Lunar New Year, I quickly checked my watch to make sure I got to the airport on time. It took around one hour to fly from HCM to Nha Trang. Fortunately, the airport was not overcrowded at the time. An elderly woman over 70 years old carrying luggage struggled to walk through the crowds of people returning to their hometown. A kind young man assisted her in carrying her luggage. A child willingly gave up his seat on the bus to get to the plane for her. All of these small but heartwarming gestures make me eager to return to my family, reunite, and welcome the warm New Year after living away for so long.  I usually come back to my hometown a few days early to assist my parents in preparing the necessary Tet items. Go to the market with my father to buy flower pots for the garden, or with my mother to buy food and home decoration items. The entire family cleans and arranges the furniture in the house in order to have a more prosperous new year. When I was a kid, I would pack

Hร€ GIANG: THE JOURNEY OF YOUTH

Image
๐Ÿ‘‰ I've been in love with Ha Giang since I first visited it with a group of friends in northern Vietnam in the end of September with the cool temperature. I still keep telling my friends that I really want to return to Ha Giang one day. Three months later, I have the opportunity to return and take in the beauty of this place in cold weather around 10-12 celsius and sometimes 7 celsius at night. Ha Giang is an enthralling and magical destination that I adore. ๐Ÿ‘‰ The Ha Giang road trip was dubbed "the journey of youth" by me. Youth is the most beautiful time in a personal's life and the most valuable asset. You can't buy youth no matter how much money you have. Youth is full of indescribable emotions. I can see myself in my youth, full of enthusiasm for challenges, passion, adventure, and ambition. This road trip has given me the youthful energy that I have been missing due to the demands of life and work. 1. About Hร  Giang - Ha Giang is a mountainous border provinc

Leng Keng, Leng Keng...the bell of the ice cream cart

Image
When did you last hear the bell of the ice cream cart? ๐Ÿ‘‰When I was growing up in  Nha Trang, Viet Nam ;  my area consisted of 10 small and adjacent houses. Each house had a few children of the same age, so after returning from school, we played games, or gathered to buy food to enjoy. One of the must-haves for my childhood memories is ice cream๐Ÿ’—. Every time we heard the sound of Leng Keng, all the kids were running after the ice cream cart like we were afraid that the ice cream vendor would disappear. There were times when I couldn't afford to buy, but I begged my parents to pay for me anyway. Source: Dan Tri newspaper ๐Ÿ‘‰Ice cream at that time was only ice, didn't smell milky, added food colors, and wasn't as tasty as today's ice cream made with quality ingredients. But in my childhood memories, this is the best ice cream I've ever had๐Ÿ˜ Source: Dan Tri newspaper ๐Ÿ‘‰ Life changes with economic development and more and more buildings come up.
